Too all men to whom these presents shall come, Greeting! Know ye thatwhereas John Lewis deceased of the County of Goochland died possessedof a tract of land containing four hundred and eighty acres, lying onthe North side of James River and about Dover Church in the County ofGoochland. We the subscribers being joynt heirs at Law to the saidtract of land have by the advice and consent of each other divided thesaid tract of land among us...to George West and Mary his wife onehundred and twenty acres including the house and plantation whereonthe said John Lewis himself lived. To John Dikes and Judith his wifeone hundred and twenty acres including the house and plantationwhereon Thomas Lawhawn lived. To John Utley and Ann his wife onehundred and twenty acres including the houses and plantation whereonthe said John Utley now lives.
