Hannah married her second husband Richard Pennington in NC after her
1st
husband John Stewart was killed by indians in KY. She migrated with
her
second husband to 9 miles North of Lexington KY on the Elkhorn River.
Later
they moved to Sparta, White Co, TN where Richard died in 1813. After
his
death Hannah moved back to Monroe Co, KY to live with her son Daniel.
She
is buried in the Mill Ck Cem there in spite of there being a marker in
her
memory at the Old Mulkey Church Cem.
