There was no Sunday school here Sunday on account of the Funeral ofGrandma Isaacs.

The entire county was thrown into mouring by the death of GrandmaIsaacs last Friday morning at 5 o'clock. Miss Highly Reynolds was bornin Tennessee July 1815. She was married to Wm. Isaacs, December 1833.Unto this union was born eleven children -- seven boys and 4 fourgirls -- of whom 4 boys and one girl are living. Wm. Isaacs diedOctober 16th 1866. Grandma Isaacs died January 20th 1899 age 88 years,6 months, and 20 days. She became a member of the Christian Churchat the age of fifteen and oived a consistent christian the rest of herdays. She was a true companion a loving mother and a blessedneighbor. The funeral was preached by Elder G. M. Shulta at the M. E.Church after which the remains were quietly laid to rest in theCortland Cemtery.
