Dr. Abner Baker wrote in a Life Book (written about 1854). Apparently,it was only privately printed for the family but excerpts from it wereprinted in "The Huguenot" Vol. XI (1941-43).
In his book, Dr. Abner states that three brothers, Caleb, Andrew, andSamuel came from England to PA about 1720. He states that the brotherswere gunsmiths commissioned by the King of England to build an armoryand place of manufacture of firearms for the defense of country fromthe Indians.
